QuickGPS Connection failed. Please try again later.
All I had to do to fix this on my phone was change the location settings in the phone settings from 911 only to location on. I had performed a hard reset which reverted this to 911 only. After enabling that QuickGPS started working normally.
I have an HTC Touch Pro and was getting the same 'connection failed' message. This fixed my problem as well. GPS is working great now. Thanks so much, Mondo! :D :D :D
I was about to mess with my registry settings as well to fix this, then stumbled across this. Glad someone is smart enough to figure out the simple solution! Definitely beats the heck out of accidentally messing stuff up that isn't broken. x)

This solution was great. I had just upgraded my ROM and this was frustrating me. Thanks for posting the solution.
